Collaborative Planning is a new online system used for financial monitoring and reporting. This new system is being delivered by the Systems Finance Team who also have responsible for:      

  • SAMIS 
  • VAT Guidance & Advice
  • Purchasing Cards
  • P2P (“Procure to Pay” – Online ordering system - NEW available soon)

Initially we will be giving you access to payroll data; log in details and instructions on how to view your payroll data were forwarded to all head teachers last month.  As Collaborative Planning contains financially sensitive data; log in details were only sent to the named email address of all head teachers – if you did not receive the email please get in touch.

If you are a School Business Manager/Finance Officer or if you believe you will find this system useful for your role; please sign the attached form and we will supply you with log in details.

Shropshire Council Accountants, Finance Officers and Budget Holders have been using this system during the past 3 years and it has allowed us to streamline the process for producing budget monitoring projections, standardise financial information across the Council, and also ensure that projections are based on real-time information.

Collaborative Planning has been carefully modified to meet the needs of Schools, data will be refreshed from Samis daily and you will find a suite of reports capturing your data.  Budget Monitoring will be available to you around early summer time and your current schools finance officer will be able to provide you with support.
