Introducing Richard Smith - ICT & Computing CPD Associate
Richard runs a range of innovative courses for Inspire to Learn. These include the Primary and Secondary subject leader courses and hands on training that encourage the development of coding skills.
Richard Smith set up his own company, AmazingICT four years ago to inspire the next generation of teachers to make better use of technology. He works in seven different schools every week to support their development as well as running courses both locally and nationally.
Richard is the HUB leader for a Computing at School Group. He is an ambassador for CEOP ( Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) and is a Naace ICT Mark assessor working with governors and senior managers to strategically plan the development of technology in their schools.
Richard was recently on a panel of the Westminster Education Forum contributing to a discussion around ‘Digital technologies and innovative teaching practices in the classroom: latest thinking and policy options’.
