Payroll Deadlines

Further to ongoing review of payroll deadlines and feedback from Schools, I have explored options in relation to streamlining the monthly deadline, with the intention of identifying a fixed deadline date which is consistent throughout the year. 

As a consequence, a set monthly deadline has been identified for the remainder of 2023, with the exception of December’s payroll and a new monthly payroll deadline for June to November 2023 is 9^th of each month, which will include all payroll related instructions.  December 2023 payroll has a deadline of 3^rd December for all associated payroll work.

I will be reviewing the benefit and impact of the above, and would encourage feedback from School Administrators, Business Managers and Headteachers so that I can consider confirming a similar arrangement for 2024 payrolls.
