Training and development
Training and development is a vital part of becoming an effective governor. Whilst not compulsory, all governors, however experienced, are responsible for developing skills and knowledge to: assist them with the many issues that regularly occur; keep up with the many changes taking place in education; and in supporting schools to raise standards.
